hey chek out tis problem...

X

1

X

2

2

2

X

X

well yeah at first sight it looks like cross n nuts (or knots???) but it’s actually

something more interesting than that.

The job is to fill the nos 1-8 in this grid (except the places marked ‘X’) in such a way that no 2 consecutive nos are adjacent to each other ( in any direction)

For instance the ‘2’ cannot be placed in any of the cells in which it has been right now.

Any queries feel free!!!

Happy solving!!!

u guys are really 'NIKAMMA'
I'm sure my lil brother has explained this puzzle quite clearly but anyways i'll try n clear your doubts.
1.Make a grid with 4 columns and 3 rows
2.Put a cross on the 4 corner cells
3.Now your task is to fill all the numbers: 1 to 8 in the remaining boxes
..
HOWEVER there is 1 simple constraint:

In doing so make sure that numbers that come one after the other ( like 1,2 or 2,3..)
are NOT placed in cells which are touching each other.
This fact has been illustrated in the figure.
If 1 is written in indicated cell(black)
then 2 CANNOT be placed in those cells where its written in RED.
An interesting problem..hope someone comes up with the right solution soon
